Preceded in death by her parents, Gustavo and Adelaida Franco.
Our beloved sister Pera entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. She is survived by her siblings: Gustavo (Gloria) Franco, Leticia Franco, Laura (Rene) Dorantes, Eduardo (Elvira) Franco, Norma Franco, Ricardo (Marisol) Franco, and Braulio Franco, as well as twenty-two (22) nieces and nephews.
As the eldest of eight siblings, Pera took on the role of parent at an early age. She loved us fiercely and took great care of us our children and grandchildren. For our entire family, she was not only a pillar of strength and wisdom, but she held a unique and special relationship with each and every one of us.
She will be sorely missed but we know that she is with our dear Mama Lala and Papa Gustavo.

A church service for Esperanza will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 3:00 PM at St Luke Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Dr, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
