Tears from Heaven
When someone loses someone,
we tell them not to cry,
that life will still go on,
without a reason why,
If God were to come down from heaven
and see a lone tear fall,
I know he’d say it’s okay
and it’s the love that we recall.
God wants us to remember
all the good times that we shared.
Tears don’t erase the memories.
They remind us that they’re there.
So don’t stop yourselves from crying
over someone that you love,
as long as you remember
that they’re safe now up above.

I met Tia Cama at the two family reunions I attended, but I never really knew her as well as I would have liked to and that is my loss, however, I heard many wonderful stories about her as my Mother Esther Gonzales Galvan (RIP) married to Adan Cruz Galvan Sr. always spoke very fondly of her.  I only knew her through my Mother's memories and I know she was very special.  To my Tio Juan, the prayers of my family and I are with you and your entire family.  I am sorry that I live so far away (Sacramento, California), however I am with you and yours in spirit.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

My tia Cama as I knew her was the most beautiful lady and  wonderful person in the world.  As a kid I enjoyed spending time with my cousins, and Her.  I enjoyed her smile and her cooking, best cook in the whole wide world.  As an adult, took my family to meet her, and all of them fell in love with her.  Won't be able to make it because of work issues, but will always have her in my heart, since she was my second mom.  To my Tio Juan, and all my cousins, we have lost someone special, but she is with our Lord and Savior in Heaven where Angels belong, and she was an Angel.  Love to you all. My Tia Cama as I called her was like my mother.  As a kid  I enjoyed spending Saturdays with my cousins, & she making us something to eat, I think she was the best cook I have ever known.  I thought she was the most beautiful lady in the world, and know that my cousins took after her.  As an adult taking  my Wife and family to meet her, they all were impressed and felt in love with her, because she treated them like family.  No body can ever replace my aunt., she was my favorite aunt., sadly we will  not be able to attend the service due to  new job, but I will always remember her, and the good times she gave us.  To my Uncle Juan, and cousins, be Happy that she is now with our Lord, and in Heaven where Angles like her belong.

Tio Juan, this is your neice Mary Galvan Merritt, daughter of Adan & Esther Galvan.  I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.  My Tia Camen was always a gentle soul with me.  I only have good thoughts of her love and gentleness.  I know you will miss her, but remember Tio, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.  It will be hard for you to bear, but Phil 4:13 says I can do all things through God who strengthens me.  God will give you the strength to accept his decision to take her.  My condolences are with you and all my cousins and great cousins.  If I lived in Brownsville I'd be there with you, but living in El Paso makes it harder for me to come, but I'm there with you all in Spirit.

Galvan Family, Sorry for the loss of your wonderful Mama, she's Silvia Galvan's Mother in law & all i heard was good things about her & she truly loved her family. I met her many years ago very polite, soft spoken lady, Rest in peace Sra Galvan.

To my mother-in-law, Carmen: Thank you so much for having given birth to my wife, Dora. You exemplified such an unselfish attitude in your gracious giving nature which was demonstrated in the love you showered on all your children and making each one of them feel special. I was deeply blessed by having been part of your life for the last 45 years and am sadden by the loss of your presence in our lives today. Rest In Peace, Lovely Lady.

My Dearest Suegra, thank you so much for having given life to the only other woman that comes close to being the kind of mother, spouse, and grandmother that you were to all our families. I will always cherish the moments when you stood by us when I married your first born child and when you became a grandmother with our first born son. Although you have left us, I can still see the essence of your life when I look into my wife's eyes or my children's faces. Thanks for the memories, but more importantly for the enduring legacy you left for our future families. Rest In Peace, Lovely Lady.

She was very dear to my brother's, Tim Lucas', heart. We thank her for her kindness and love for him.  Wish we could have met her.
