Shua Chean Ivan Khoo

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ivan Shua Chean Khoo on November 29, 2024, at the age of 46.

Born on June 23, 1978, Ivan was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to his family. He lived a life filled with love, laughter and devotion to his friends and family.

Ivan is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Woo; his cherished children, Lucas and Olivia; his beloved bonus children, Amanda (Clifford), and Matthew. He also leaves behind his devoted parents, Kooi Lian Choo and Mok Yong Khoo, and his dear sisters, Fenny, Eshea, and Ee Harn. His parents-in-law, So Moi Tong and Johnny Woo, and his sisters-in-law, Tina (Hei Lai), Angela (Ben) and Chris (Kirk), also hold his memory close, honouring the love and joy he brought to their families. His memory lives on through his extended family, including many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who were touched by his warmth and kindness.

A memorial service to celebrate Ivan's life will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at La Maison Darche, 7679 boul. Taschereau, Brossard, Quebec, J4Y 1A2.

In honour of Ivan’s memory, the family welcomes flowers, sympathy cards, and donations in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice.

Ivan’s legacy of love and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will forever be remembered for his boundless love and the joy he brought into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on through the memories we share and the lives he touched.
