COOK, Tony Marvin, age 66 of Brooksville, Florida died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Tampa, Florida. He came here 47 years ago from his native, Alabama. He was the owner/operator of a tractor trailer, working in the logging transport industry, was of the Baptist faith and loved to restore old vehicles. Survivors include his wife, Betty Meinhardt Cook; daughter & son-in-law: Tammy Cook Mothershed & David of Brooksville, Florida; brothers: Paul Cook of Florala, Alabama and Billy Cook of Ponce De Leon, Florida. Visitation for friends will be 2 – 3pm, Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel where funeral services will begin at 3:00pm. Interment will follow at the Brooksville Cemetery.
