Timothy "Tim" M. Amsler

AMSLER, Timothy "Tim" M., 72, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his home.

He was born June 29, 1946 in Goshen, Indiana and came to Brooksville 43 years ago from St. Petersburg.  He was the proud owner of Amsler's Inc. for 36 years, a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Brooksville and the recipient of Channel 10's Who Cares Award.  He was a man who cared deeply for others and youth programs who was the chaplain for S.T.O.P Camp for 20 years, volunteer for children's church programs and loved teaching Sunday school.  He also enjoyed fishing, woodworking and helping people in any way that he could.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dave Amsler.  He is survived by wife of 50 years and six months, Charlene Amsler; daughters, Tammy Amsler of Fishers, Indiana and Teresa Boyer of Brooksville, Florida; his mother, Blanche Amsler of Brooksville; sisters, Roseanne Sessoms of Brooksville and Sharol Uribe of Crossville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Savannah Mock and Christopher Boyer.

A Memorial Service will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the New Hope Baptist Church.
