Brooksville native Sharon Vance left this world suddenly on May 20, 2022 at the age of 61. She was a “one of a kind” Momma, a loving Nannie, loyal friend, and an influential member of the town she grew up in and loved.
She was born to Robert and Maxine Rosenfeldt (stepfather Chess Mills) on November 5, 1960 at Lykes Memorial Hospital in Brooksville, Florida and passed away at Brevara Health (recently referred to as Brooksville Regional). She is survived by her daughters, Brittany Finley (WT) and Jami Frazier (Chad); previous spouses, David Frazier and Grady Vance; and five grandsons, Travis (21), Colton (17), Ryan (16), Blake (9) and Clayton (4). She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Karen Childers Hunt.
Sharon loved all things Brooksville and was known for her tremendous love of family and generosity by all those who knew her. She was the backbone of her family and influential to all people she met as well as many businesses in the community. She will be missed by all and would want us to honor her legacy by living life to the fullest.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00-4:00pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at First United Methodist Church of Brooksville, where Funeral Services begin at 4:00pm, with Reverend David Hope officiating. Burial will follow with a Committal Service at Brooksville Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at Florida Cracker Bourbon Barn.
