Phyliss was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 24, 1937. She was the wife of the late Howard Leon Jones Sr.
Phyliss loved spending time with her family. She had a passion for crafts, baking and playing games.
She was an active member of Lutheran churches in both Pennsylvania and Florida.
Phyliss was the beloved mother of Howard Jr. (deceased) and Karen John (Bill). Grandmother to Amber Libertz (Sue), April Mangiaracina (Brett) and Ashley Delguidice (Nick). She also has five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Jaydon, Bryce, Jack, and Savannah. Sister to Herman Cooper (Pat) (deceased) and Mary Jane Kelly (Bill).
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00-4:00pm, Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Merritt Funeral Home, 2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville FL 34601.
