Mercy Bogard Victory

Mercy was born as Betty Lou Bogard on November 17, 1930 in Chillicothee, Texas. She graduated from Grand Prairie High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas. Mercy had a passion for Jesus and her family and in 1948 she married the love of her life, Ronald Emmitt Buchanan and together they raised their large loving family.

She is survived by her children, Sheila Pritchard, Rhonda Graffagnino , Sabrina Stanfield, Paul Buchanan, and Tonya Culver; cherished grandchildren, Branson Winslett, Laura Morales, Rachel Winslett, Nina Pipps, Reece Graffagnino, Jared Stanfield, Aubrey Van Blaricom, Clarissa Culver, Camille Saylor, Ryan Culver, Brock Buchanan, Beck Buchanan, Breanna Culver, Blaise Daluga, Jonah Culver, Blake Buchanan and great-grandchildren, Noah Morales, Tobias Morales, Levi Morales, Lucas Morales, Sasha Van Blaricom, Oliver Stanfield, William Winslett, Christopher Winslett, and Theo Buchanan.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm, Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Merritt Funeral Home, 2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville FL 34601, where Funeral Services begin at 1:00pm, with Pastor Billy Pope officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Mercy preferred a donation be made to Lita Foundation litafoundation.org/donate. All donations will be contributed to heart surgeries for children in Vietnam.
