Kenneth L. Allman

He was born January 17, 1926 in Lake Lindsey, Florida and was a lifelong resident of Brooksville, Florida.  He was a United States Army Veteran, a devoted and beloved family man and avid gardener.  He was employed by Florida Rock and Mining as a heavy equipment operator and was of the Methodist faith. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mae E. Schoonover Allman and daughter, Virginia Kirkland.  He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth E. and Brenda Allman of Asheville, North Carolina; daughters: Patricia A. Bailey of Brooksville, Florida and Cathy Klinehoffer of Homosassa, Florida; sister: Dorothy Vosburgh of San Rafael, California; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be 12:00-2:00pm, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, with Reverend Doug Zipperer officiating.  Burial will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
