HUMPHREY, Doris, L., age 92, of Brooksville, Florida died Friday, July 28, 2017 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Richford, Vermont and came to the area 14 years ago from Townsend, MA. She was a homemaker and a member of the High Point Quilters, the United Methodist Women’s Club. She volunteered for over 10 years at Bayfront Health of Brooksville.
Preceded in death by husband, Philip Humphrey, son: Gary Humphrey and daughter, Jane Ware; she is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie and Bill Burns of Brooksville, FL; Linda and Doyle Ladner of Matthews, NC; brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth and Jean Baker of Massachusetts; sister: Jennie Inglis of New Hampshire; 8 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Edd Denton and Reverend Doug Zipperer officiating.
