Christian M. Bishop was born in Stoughton, Massachusetts on October 17th 1978. At the age of 37 Christian passed away on October 27th 2015. Christian moved to Florida as a child and attended Dunedin Day School, Lakeside Christian School, Palm Harbor Middle School and graduated from Tarpon Springs High School class of 1996. He also attended Pasco-Hernando Community College Tarpon Springs campus.
During his youth Christian played competitive baseball for Greater Dunedin Little League as a utility player focusing on shortstop. He also participated in Cub Scouts. During his teenage years Christian competed for the Tarpon Springs High School Dive Team and placed in high ranking amongst his division. Christian also enjoyed weightlifting and personal fitness as a young adult.
Christian enjoyed weight training, music, going out with friends, and enjoying life to the fullest. Christian built friendships with all of those around him. He always considered Daniel Barbosa and Brian Wolff his best friends. He cherished all of the memories he had with them during his best years. He also built immeasurable friendships with the boys in the Wexford Leas and surrounding neighborhoods.
Christian is survived by his father: Ronald L. Bishop; mother: Linda K. Bishop; sisters: Shelley T. Tuson Story and Nicole L. Bishop Baker; departed brother: Richard (Richie) C. Story II; sister in law: Joelyn M. Tuson; brother in law: Christopher S. Baker; nieces: Amanda L. Annable and Chloe R. Baker; nephews: Dylan J. Baker and Brady J. Tuson; dog: Gabriela (Gabby) Bishop.
A special thanks to the staff and management at Merritt Funeral Home for being so kind, considerate and caring during such a difficult time.
