Born on July 14, 1953, in Kirksville, Missouri. Chuck was a man who embodied the values of love, kindness, and family devotion throughout his life.
Growing up, Chuck moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, where he played football for his high school team, igniting a lifelong passion for the Corn Huskers. His dedication to the team remained steadfast, supporting them through every season.
Chuck was a devout Christian, often found reading the Bible and embodying its teachings by lending a helping hand or sharing a friendly smile with those around him. His greatest joy was spending time with his beloved grandchildren, who brought immense happiness and fulfillment to his life.
He is survived by his loving children, Gwendolyn Tredway, Christina Martin, Sarah Martin Hasse (Alex), and Elizabeth Blade (Jesse). His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Emelia, Hannah, Claire, Lydia, Gage, Murphi, and Ambrose. Chuck also leaves his sisters Julie and Susie.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Martin; mother, Frances Alice McCauley; and sister, Trudy.
Chuck's life was a testament to the enduring strength of familial bonds and the simple, profound joy of giving. His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of all who loved him.
