He is survived by his loving wife, Hortencia Munoz as well as his two children, Edith Rosales and Jorge Rosales Jr., and his favorite Son in-law, Jonathan Vidals.
Born in Acatlan De Osorio, Mexico, he came to the U.S. in search of building a better life, and succeeded in creating the life he wanted. A selfless loving Husband, Brother, Uncle, Family Member, Friend, he did everything in his power to make sure others were happy. A devout Catholic, he lived life in service of his God and community alike. He performed acts of kindness daily, never expecting anything in return. His smile was contagious, with the ability to instantly light up every room he stepped foot in.
This loss will be felt deeply by his family and friends, but also those who had the fortune of exchanging a single laugh with him. His family deeply thanks all those who share kind words and memories of Jorge, and asks they please continue to remember him as the great man he was.
A visitation for Jorge will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Joseph G. Duffy, 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215. A mass of christian burial will occur Monday, October 23, 2023 at 9:45 AM at Holy Family St. Thomas Aquinas, 249 9th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215. A committal service will occur Monday, October 23, 2023 at Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
