Grace Minerva

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Grace Minerva, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away peacefully at the age of 94. A lifelong resident of Brooklyn, NY, Grace was a deeply devoted member of St. Edmund's Church, where she was known for her beautiful voice and for joyfully singing in the church choir for many years. Her love for music was a constant source of joy in her life, and she shared that passion with her family, fellow parishioners and friends. In addition to music, she took great pleasure in caring for her beloved cats, with whom she shared her home and her heart.

Grace is survived by her brother, Domenic Minerva, and her nieces and nephews, who were the light of her life. She shared a special bond with each of them, offering her wisdom, love, and support throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brothers, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Grace’s kindness, creativity, and deep faith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.

A visitation for Grace will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Monday, December 23, 2024 at St. Edmund Roman Catholic Church, 10:15 AM. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
