Anna Balzano

Anna Balzano nee (Belfiore), who recently turned 91 on July 27, 2022, died Sunday September 18, 2022 peacefully at Norwegian Christian Home and Health in Brooklyn. Anna was a dedicated wife and loving mother. She was married to the late Anthony Balzano since 1961. Anna is survived by her two sons Andrew and John and her Daughter –in-law JoAnna. She had two wonderful grandchildren Megan and Kevin. Anna was sisters to the late John Belfiore, Angie Barone and Connie Puzio and has many nieces and nephews. Anna was a big fan of puzzles and games. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, followed by her favorite show Wheel of Fortune every night. In her spare time she loving solving crossword puzzles and doing word searches.

A visitation for Anna will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church, 6115 Bay Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11214. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharott Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10309.
