Ada (Frisch) Kussell, age 66, of Needham, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. For 34 years, beloved wife and soulmate of William A. Kussell. Loving and adored mother of Melanie Kussell and her husband James Golin, and Dave Kussell. Cherished daughter of the late Natalie (Gourse) Frisch Prokesch and Milton Frisch. Dear sister of Daniel Frisch and his wife Alice Makl and Howard Frisch and his partner Renee Aisenberg. Fond aunt to her nephews and nieces, David and Danielle Frisch, Michael and Christie Frisch, Robert and Emma Frisch, Rebecca Frisch and Scott Lauber, and Deborah Frisch and Dana Spiegelman.
Ada was born in Lynn and raised in Swampscott. She was a graduate of Boston University in the class of 1979 and received a Master’s degree from Northeastern University. Ada met Will in August of 1988, they had a whirlwind romance, and were married in May of 1989. They never stopped holding hands.
She never went a day without seeing her friends and family and pursuing her passions such as golf, pickleball, canasta, traveling, neighborhood walks, Mahjong and book club. Ada encouraged everyone to live life to the fullest and she was the best example of doing so.
Ada was the most caring, thoughtful, joyful, and generous person. She extended her loving-kindness to everyone who crossed her path. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be held at Temple Beth Shalom, 670 Highland Avenue, Needham on Tuesday September 19th at 10:00am. Burial immediately following at Temple Sinai Memorial Park, Danvers. Memorial observance will be announced at the service.
