Frank J. Hajek, age 90, of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Fairview Nursing Home.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11:30 am at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Frank was born on December 6, 1933, in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin. The son of Henry and Mary (Held) Hajek. Frank served in the US Army and operated heavy equipment the majority of his life. He retired back to where his life began on the Hajek Farm in Kildare. He was well known in Lyndon Station with his charming one liners and jokes. Frank had a passion for tractors and polka music. He will be greatly missed by many.
Frank is survived by sons, Joseph, Glen (Chris), Roger (Kathy), Robert and Corey Hajek along with his brother Albert Hajek and sister Gertrude (Glen) Duckert. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren Angie, Jenny, Nick, Nathan, Jackie and Mathew, and 4 great-grandchildren Rylie, Dylan, Adison and Sienna.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, wife Audrey and Joy (Pontow) brothers Hank and John, and sisters Mary Schultz, Frances Schneider, Irene LaVigne, and Helen Gourley and daughter-in-law Cindi Hajek.
