Jacqueline McDonald Moore

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. McDonald of Huntsville, Alabama.

Survivors include daughter Angela Gizelar of Knoxville, daughter and son-in-law Nicole and Mark Russell of Old Hickory, grandson Trevor Russell, granddaughter Sydney Russell, sister and brother-in-law Diane and Gerald Gizelar of Newnan, Georgia, niece Tania Gizelar, nephew Brian Gizelar, and a host of dear friends.

Jackie graduated from Huntsville High School and attended Florence State College. She earned a Series 7 license and worked in the financial industry for several years. She then earned a real estate license and enjoyed working as a RealtorTM for over 30 years until she retired. Jackie was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved traveling all over the world, watching her grandchildren play ice hockey, participating in yoga classes and book clubs, and spending time with friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Brentwood Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to gather to share warm memories and enjoy refreshments.

Memorials may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee or to the charity of your choice.

Jackie’s daughters would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at NHC Place – Cool Springs and Caris Hospice.
