Eloise Alexander Smith, born February 12, 1924, left her earthly home to move to her heavenly mansion on February 21, 2019. Her new home was prepared for her 83 years ago when she gave her life to Jesus. Eloise was predeceased by her husband Paul M. Smith Jr. and son Paul M. Smith III. She is survived by her two brothers Jett Alexander of McDonough, GA and George Alexander of Royston, GA, her daughter, Renee Smith Halbert (Paul A. Halbert) of Knoxville, TN, Beth Smith Adcox of Tullahoma, TN, and seven grandsons: Paul M. Smith, IV (Marina) of Rockford, Michigan, Adam Smith (Hope) of Whitestown, Indiana, Jonathan Smith (Rachael) of Gallatin, Tennessee, Joshua Smith (Kristen) of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Andrew Halbert (Julie) of San Jose, Costa Rica, Alex Halbert (Maggie) of Cape Town, South Africa, and Aaron Halbert (Rachel) of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She was blessed with and loved to talk about her 18 great grandchildren who were the joy of her life. Eloise was a gracious, fun-loving lady who endeared herself to those around her everywhere she lived. She was a consistent and faithful testimony of the grace of God in her life as she encouraged all those she met. She will be greatly missed by family members and her precious Morning Pointe friends she leaves here on earth. However, she will be a standout addition to the heavenly multitude surrounding the throne of Jesus (she will be the one dancing).
