Armstrong, Elise Marie, age 23, passed away July 2, 2013. She was born on April 4, 1990 to Robert Armstrong Jr and Renée Cataldi Armstrong in Easely, SC. She isprecededin death by her grandmother,Grace Cataldi. She is survived by her Parents:Robert Armstrong Jr and Renée Cataldi Armstrong; Brother: Robert Armstrong, III; Grandparents:Robert and Johanna Armstrong,Lee Cataldi and Kathy Sanders; Aunts and Uncles:Carol Armstrong Rubeo (Edward Rubeo),Cathy Cataldi Dudley(Brian Dudley),Julianne Cataldi Bednar (Lawrence Bednar),Liesl Cataldi-Hillman (Michael Hillman),Carla Cataldi Ianone (Tony Ianone); Cousins:Michael Hillman,Jenna Hillman,Mark Rubeo,Scott Rubeo,Eric Rubeo, Leighann Dudley and Rebecca Dudley;Godparents:Michael Grant andCathy Cataldi Dudley.
Elise graduated from Brentwood High School in 2009 and was an active member of the award winning Brentwood High School Chorus performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City on two separate occasions. She also acted with the Act Too Players and the Jan Williams School of Music and Theater and performed in several musicals with her brother, Robert, and friends at the Boiler Room Theater in Franklin.
She resided in Grenoble, France from 2001 - 2004 attending Middle School at Le Rondeau-Montfleury where she became fluent in French and developed her joy for skiing.Elise loved to ski and explore new ski resorts.
Elise was a student at Middle Tennessee State University and was a graphic design major. She worked as a human mannequin in several stores in and around Murfreesboro & Lebanon. She was a self-taught artist creating many paintings and pencil drawings. She was a jewelry maker, specializing in artistic hemp, silver and precious stone jewelry. Elise was an avid writer and loved to express herself through her poetry.
The family will receive friends fromfour until eight o'clock in the evening on Sunday, the 7th of July at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.Funeral mass to be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 8th of July at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9100 Crockett Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027.
