BRANSCOME – Donald Lee (Don) 79 of Brentwood, TN died on June 8, 2013. Born in Ada, OK, Don grew up in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended Oklahoma A&M and Purdue University and received a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.
In 1957 Don joined the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) and enjoyed an interesting and very successful forty-one year career working in their Sales and Marketing and New Business Development Departments, as well as the joint venture, Alcoa-Fujikura Ltd. He was the consummate globe trotter and never met a stranger.
Don is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Blanche Branscome of Oklahoma City, OK. He is survived by his devoted wife of thirty-three years, Susan Branscome of Brentwood, TN as well as his son, Daniel Edward Branscome and daughter-in-law, Kimberly and new baby grandson, Dean Franklin Branscome of McLean, VA. His companionship and unique spirit will be dearly missed.
