Frankie Lois Lane passed away on Saturday after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her immediate family. Frankie touched many lives with her sweet and gentle spirit.
Frankie was born in Medill, OK. After the passing of her father her family moved west eventually making their way to Brentwood, CA in 1946. Frankie settled and remained in East Contra Costa County the rest of her life. Frankie enjoyed her friends, music, dancing and socializing. She was a loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Newell, her mother Tommie and her brothers Bill and Bobby Helms. She is now at peace in heaven with her our Lord.
A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, October 17 at 11:00 at Union Cemetery in Brentwood.
