Rachel Ann Bonagofski Scott passed away peacefully on November 16th after a long battle with Crohn’s disease.
Rachel was born to Jim and Sandy Bonagofski (Curtis) on Nov. 17, 1973 in Centralia, Wash.
She will be remembered by all of her friends and family for her sunny disposition, love for her daughter Rilee Mae and her dog Cailee, her gentleness, and her tireless patience tackling years of medical challenges.
Rachel graduated from Bremerton High School and worked as a receptionist at The Doctors Clinic in Bremerton before becoming a full-time mom. She loved attending Rilee’s trumpet recitals and school events, hot rod runs, scrapbooking and going to the beach.
Rachel is survived by her daughter, Rilee; father, Jim (Melanie) Bonagofski; mother, Sandy (Joe) Curtis; brother, Mike (Noel) Bonagofski; aunt, Candy Hayertz; nephews, Jace and Cole Bonagofski; cousins, Amy Hayertz-Ashmore, Jake Hayertz, and John and Patty Hazelrigg, and extended family and friends.
There will be a celebration of Rachel’s life at Miller-Woodlawn in Bremerton, Wash. on Saturday, Nov. 22 at noon, with reception to follow.
We will miss you sweet girl; you were taken from us way before it was your time.
