Born in Aberdeen, WA on September 11, 1928, to Henry & Isabelle Mitchell. Pearl was raised in Bremerton and worked at Keyport during WWII building torpedoes. She was an exceptional bowler and did so, in Port Orchard, well into her 80s. Pearl also excelled at skeet shooting, really loved music, dancing, little dogs and having a good time with family and friends. She worked hard her entire life and spent years in hotel and mini-storage management before her retirement.
Pearl is survived by her daughters Nancy McCord and Maxine (David) Schoales as well as Grandchildren Kyle (Kiri) Schoales, Becca Schoales and Nicki (David) Leroux. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Dewald, and many nieces & nephews. Pearl is proceeded in death by her parents, her son, Lee Wayne McCord, sister, Margaret Crenshaw and brothers, Jack, Bill, and Chuck Mitchell.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, February 11 at Miller Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bremerton at 11:00 am. Visit www.miller-woodlawn.com to share pictures and memories. Memorial donations to the Kitsap County Humane Society can be made in lieu of flowers.
