She was born on April 16, 1939, in Livingston MT to William and Etta Rehfeldt. She moved to Bremerton at the age of 3, graduated from West High, and raised her family there as well. She worked at PSNS for nearly 30 years, retiring in 1993.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, camping, going to the ocean, beach and spending time with family.
Nadine is survived by her daughter Chrystal and her husband Jerry Shields of Maple Valley, and her son Jerry Lawrence of Lacey. She was blessed with 3 grandchildren, Justin (Sonia) Shields, Lindsey (Ben) Adelman, and Addi Lawrence. She was also blessed with 8 great grandchildren, Jade, Roman, Eden, Iris, and Pax Shields, Ethan, Emma, and Everly Adelman. She is also survived by her brother Otto Speith of Bremerton, and Edie (Claude) Green of Buda, Texas.
Nadine will be laid to rest at Miller-Woodlawn Cemetery with a private family remembrance. The family suggests that remembrances in her name be given to Alzheimer's Association.
