After meeting her future husband while dealing with car trouble on the road to Big Bear ski area, Gail and Dyke married in Augsburg Germany in 1967 and launched a lifetime of interest in world travel.

The family spent many happy trips camping, backpacking, and skiing in the Olympics and Cascade Mountains. For the past 20 years, Gail and Dyke have lived in the Olympic View Community.
A celebration of Gail’s life will be held for friends and family at a later date, after the new year.
