Ethel Batilo Lomboy passed away unexpectedly in her home in Silverdale, Washington on July 13, 2024 at the age of 65. Beloved wife and mother, she is survived by her loving husband Gilbert and daughter Gretchel. Ethel has always been the glue of the family and will be severely missed.
Ethel loved to dance, travel, eat, and most of all, spend time with her friends. She was loving, dependable, kind, compassionate, loyal, and joyous. Her laughter was instantly recognizable and she had the ability to light up any room she walked into.
Her famous saying "life is too short" will forever be remembered by those who love her. Ethel never let anything stop her from pursuing her passions. She is gone too soon, yet it is understood that she lived her life to the fullest.
Celebrations of Ethel's life will take place on August 1st and 2nd, 2024. She was loved by so many, and the family welcomes all to join in her celebration of life.
Visitation will occur on August 1st from 5-8pm at the Funeral Home, when family & friends can pay respects to Ethel and the family. There will be an open opportunity to speak in her memory during this time.
Services will continue the following day on August 2nd at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with a viewing starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a Rosary at 10:30 AM, and a Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM. The mass will be followed by a reception; please join the family in celebrating Ethel’s faith and loving memory.
The burial of Ethel's cremated remains will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery, her final resting place, at a later time.
