Carol Ann Rife

Carol graduated from Fordham University with a masters degree in Social Work. She had a successful career as a social worker and was employed as a civilian contractor for the US Navy with Fleet and Family Services. Her career brought her to New York, Nevada, Germany and Washington and she cherished many lifelong friends that she met during her career.

Carol retired in Silverdale Washington at age 71. She loved to travel with her husband Emilio. As they travelled extensively through Europe and Asia.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Emilio Gonzales and her sister Helen Virginia (Ginger) Rife Griffiths. Her surviving family includes her brother in law, Samuel (Woody) Elwood Griffiths of Doylestown, PA, Her nephews Samuel (Woody) Griffiths of Carversville PA, Jeffrey Allan Griffiths of Bainbridge Island WA, Steven Griffiths of Doylestown PA, their wives and many great nieces and nephews.

Carol was also lovingly cared for by her caregiver Brigid from Comfort Keepers during her illness.

Carol will be cremated and her remains will join her husband for burial in the Philippines.

Carol loved animals, especially her beloved dog T-Rex. Donations to your local humane society in her name would honor her memory.
