JORDAN, Walter ‘Bud’ passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the age of 88. Bud was born in Holder, Illinois and attended grade school and high school in McLean, Illinois. He attended Illinois State University and the University of Illinois. He served as a bombardier on heavy and medium bombers and an engineer in an Air Search and Rescue Squadron during WWII. He worked throughout the Midwest in sales of agricultural feed products for over 44 years. He was a Master Mason, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf and reading about America’s history and painting with water colors. He is survived by his wife, Gretchen of over 64 years; daughters, Janette Cervetti of Lithia, Fla., Jennifer Jordan of Lithia, Fla.; son, Eric Jordan of Peoria, Ill.; sister, Bonita Ensenberger of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
