Thomas Lee Dunn

DUNN, Thomas Lee, 46, of Ruskin, FL, died May 18, 2019. Born in Japan, he was a United States Air Force Veteran, and was a Bus Operator for Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART). Tom's family and friends were of the utmost importance to him. In his downtime he enjoyed, history and historical facts. Sci-Fi and computer video games, and maybe a few games of pool. He had a passion for helping others and anyone in need. He loved to discuss politics and the law. He was never afraid to put himself in harms way to help or protect someone who was in need. All the way up to the end, his fundamental need to help triumphed through, and he was able to safely pull the bus over and park it to save those passengers onboard and possibly countless others that were also near the bus.

Tom is survived by his wife Jaime, son Matthew, daughters Zoey, Tabitha, Arianna, Ashley and Alaina, mother Jean Dunn and father Michael E. Dunn (Judy), brothers Michael and Joseph and his sister Lisa.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 4:00 pm, with funeral service at 5:00 pm, both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511
