Lorraine Elizabeth Pena

On Tuesday July 16, 2019, Lorraine E. Pena, age 80, of Sun City Center, peacefully went home to be with the Lord. She was born in Long Island, New York, but was raised in Tampa, Fla. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Gidget Gail Pena, her parents ,Arthur and Bertha(Garcia) Molinet , and her brother Joseph Cuellar. She is survived by her sister Betty Otero, children Kim Rankin and DJ Pena , eight grandchildren , and two great grandchildren.

She was a lifelong catholic , member of OLPH in Ybor City during her childhood , and later St. Lawrence church in Tampa. Lorraine spent her whole career working for the railroad for over 40 years. She was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother . She loved family time, especially vacations at the beach, fishing, and baseball ( especially watching DJ play). She loved fashion, shopping and was always dressed perfectly head to toe. She loved her cousins, nieces and nephews and friends with all her heart. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at St Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 N Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, July 26, 2019 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL.
