Jamie Lynn Sommer

Jamie was born in Incirlik, Turkey, on April 3 1978. She, being born into a military family, spent her early life traveling the states and two countries. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Psychology. She married Clinton Sommer, they later divorced. She found her best friend and soul mate, fiancee Ralph Cartwright. She is survived by her parents, Rick and Robyn Eldard; her brother, Keith Eldard (Megan); her children, Cole Sommer, Colby Sommer, Emerson Sommer and Bodie Cartwright; her niece, Addyson Eldard and nephew, Wyatt Eldard; her Aunt Vickie Applegate (David), Aunt Carol Jackson (Ken), Uncle John Eldard (Marj), Uncle Mike Eldard (Debbie), Aunt Suzanne Pendleton (Craig) and Uncle Roger Eldard. She will be greeted in heaven by her maternal grandparents, James and Ernestine Smith; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Lois Eldard; her Uncle Robert Eldard; and her cousins, Marc Jackson and Mike Eldard; Ray and Joyce Cartwright. Jamie was employed by the Florida Department of Children and Families for ten years. She enjoyed time off with her family in many activities from being a baseball, softball and lacrosse mom to camping, riding motorcycles and festivities with the Cartwright family. Jamie was always trying to make life better for those around her. When she saw family or a friend in need, she would find a way to meet it, solve it or stay the course. Her friends were her friends for life. She would be so appreciative of the care that Alyssa, Emily and Jaiden have shown to Colby, Cole and Emerson at this very difficult time. I know she would like to thank the Cartwright family, Joyce, Ray Sr, Irene, Janis, Connie and Ray, for loving her and considering her family. She loved her family with all her heart and soul.
