SUTHERLAND, Helen L., 92, of Riverview passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was a retired Teacher from the Hillsborough County School System. Helen was a member of the Riverview UMC where she was the Member of the Choir for many years. She put herself through college on a basketball scholarship at MSCW and became an Air Force wife, moving all over the country. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, G.H. Sutherland SMSgt USAF (ret), and is survived by her children, David Sutherland (Susan), Bill Sutherland, Bev Sutherland (Tammy), and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11 am, with family to accept friends one hour prior to service at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon.
