BURNETT, George Joseph “Pop”, 86, of Seffner passed away June 1, 2013. He was a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Burnett; sons, George Daniel Burnett and Michael Burnett; grandson, David Carlton Holliday; and sister, Dorothy Doswell. He is survived by his sons, Steven Wayne Burnett, Eric Charles Baker and Craig Baker; daughters, Margie Burnett-Miller, Susan Lynn Burnett, and Denise Kim Bittner; brother, Johnny Burnett; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013 with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2013 at Stowers Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in Limona Cemetery. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
