George Purayampallil Antony

George Purayampallil Antony (affectionately called Shibu) was born in Bangalore, India to Purayampallil Ullahanan Antony and Thresiama Antony ( Myalil).

He leaves behind his loving wife, Suma George (Madhavapallil) and his three sons Ronnie, Justin and Dennis. He was a devoted dad, a loving husband, a caring brother, and the favorite uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

George grew up and completed his education in Bangalore and worked at BEML for 32 years prior to moving to Tampa, FL in 2016 to join his wife and kids. He spent his semi – retired life gardening, cooking and shared a passion for travel along with his wife Suma.

He was an active member of KCCCF and enjoyed spending time with the community members. He was a cheerful person always humming his favorite tunes and instilled the passion for music in his boys. He was always high in spirits and brightened the life of everyone around him irrespective of the circumstances and his spirit will live on.

A visitation for George will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Community Center, 2620 Washington Rd, Valrico, FL 33594. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Nativity Catholic Church, 705 E Brandon Blvd,, Brandon, FL 33511.
