THOMAS, Doris Mae, 88, passed away on November 1, 2015. Doris was a member of First Baptist Church of Plant City. She and her late husband, Marvin spent their lives helping others and were a part of the Campers on Mission. She was a loving mother and loved her grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Marvin and daughter, Rowena Tyler.
She is survived by her son, Marvin Lee Thomas (Alice); four grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church, 4915 W. Trapnell Rd., Plant City, FL 33566. Funeral services will begin promptly at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Orange Hill Cemetery in Tampa.
