Cynthia Leavell was born on September 27, 1954 to the late Thomas Mae Mobley and Thomas McCray. Cynthia answered her Heavenly Call on February 18, 2021. Cynthia was a devoted Christian who loved sharing the Word of God. She enjoyed doing hair and teaching others proper etiquette. She was educated in the schools of Hillsborough County and earned her license for cosmetology from Wilfred Beauty Academy. She was preceded in death by her loving mother Johnnie Mae Mobley, her father Thomas James McCray, and her husband Larry Joe Leavell.
She leaves to cherish fond memories two beautiful daughters Vernecia Haynes (Perry), and Vetassha Stewart, one sister Cecelia Peartree, one brother Keith Peartree, and three nephews Carl Littles Jr., Johnnie Lee Peartree, and Jarmon Peartree. Nine grandchildren Gerard Edwards (Brittany), Derwin Reeves Jr. (Sade), Earleeca Reeves, Darrius Reeves (Diamond), Khiry Anfield, Alshante Riggins, J’Amani Hillmon, Keshawna Haynes, Perry Haynes Jr. Eleven great-grandchildren Aubrielle, Khi, Tristan, Genesis, Elliana, Adriel, Nehriya, Gabriel, Darrius Jr., Damiyah, Messiah, and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.
