Clara was born on October 24, 1935, to Will and Etta (Laminack) Summerville.
Clara was always kind and generous to a multitude of people. Always willing to lend a helping hand.
Most importantly, she believed in Jesus and followed his teachings angelically and firmly believed in his word.
She loved her wrap-around porch where she was always planting, listened to wind chimes, watched nature and was especially attentive to all of God's creatures of flight. She watched them perch and feed from her bird feeders. She was an avid gardener, known for her green thumb. She planted lots of trees, many plant varieties and flowers. She was tenderly attentive to all of them.
Her heart was immense and she was quick to forgive. She loved and truly missed listening to her late husband play his steel guitar. She was a wonderful cook always humming and cooking full spreads of delicious southern food that fed her family, friends, strangers, or anyone who wanted or needed a meal.
She loved dressing up, always wearing pretty shades of lipstick that only accented her already beautiful teeth and contagious smile. Her smile reflected a reverent vibrancy transcending her kindness. She rarely met a stranger and made friends easily. She will be deeply missed by her girls, family, friends and many people in the Riverview community.
She was the mother of four surviving daughters: Pamela M. Fannin, (Wesley), Sheila K. Smith (Rachel), Sabrina L. Kelly, and Vonda D. Larson (Christopher); Her Grandchildren: Forrest W. Fannin, Logan S. Kelly, Channing T. Larson, and Sage B. Larson; Her Grand dogs: Gabby Smith, Booker Larson, River Larson, Tilly Larson, and Mya Kelly; Her Surviving brother: Kenneth Summerville; Her Surviving sister: Bernice Wilkinson and many surviving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Eugene Ray Smith; Her Dog: Roxy; Her Parents: Father, Will Summerville and Mother, Etta Summerville; Her Sisters: Bessie Backus, Shirley Hamilton, and Eunice Walden; Her Brothers: Dick Summerville, Gene Summerville, Wilbur Lee (Fisher) Summerville, and Bobby Summerville.
Her memory will live on forever with all of us whom had the pleasure of loving and knowing her!
