He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at home. He was born December 12, 1970 in Lakeland, Florida to Charles and Virginia (Gess) Sharpe. Chuck was raised in Lakeland, Florida where he attended Lake Gibson High School prior to going into the Marine Corps.
He served in the military from 1989 to 1991 as a Reserve in Desert Storm. He received a National Defense Service Medal and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. Chuck was an avid collector of Diecast cars. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, snowmobiling ,watching wrestling, Nascar and Drag races, and his favorite team was the Florida State state Seminoles.
Survived by wife Christy Sharpe married December 17, 2004, two children Michael Sharpe and Brandi Sharpe. Two grandchildren Bentley Moylon and Shawn Sanders. Three siblings Jenny (Miguel) Perez Perez, Joyce (Jay) Amos and Eric (Vicki) Sharpe. Along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He was our quiet strength, made us laugh and smile every day with his sense of humor and was the most thoughtful and caring man. He will be missed every single day and will forever be in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Stowers Funeral Home 401 West Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL.
