He is survived by his wife, Sabrina; daughters, Angel Nickens, and Brittney Bowman; granddaughter, Aribelle Young, Brittney's daughter; his devoted mother, Barbara; sister, Tamara Bowman (husband Ron Turner); nieces, Elise and Alexis Turner; many cousins, aunts and uncles; and, two aunts that were very dear to his heart, Rachel Thomas and Orpha Wiseman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jake Bowman; and his beloved stepfather, Richard Sanchez. Known as Todd in the family, and Charlie to others, he is remembered for giving to others who he felt had a greater need than him. He organized holiday dinners for the homeless. He loved art, and especially drawing pictures of animals in the wild. He started cooking as a young boy, and excelled in it, even winning a blue ribbon at the county fair while still in elementary school. Charlie loved being out in nature and spent considerable time hiking, walking, and exploring the mountains and trails of Colorado.
