Christa S Kaske

Born in Elbing, Germany, to Gertrude (née Hinz) and Heinz Lietz, Christa and her husband, Otto, immigrated to NYC in 1952. After living in Passaic, NJ, they moved to Lake Kittatinny in Sandyston. Christa enjoyed reading and solving crossword-puzzles. She loved music, singing and playing piano and worked as a waitress and entertainer before working at the Homestead Nursing Facility in Branchville, NJ, as a nursing assistant.

Survivors include her daughter, Christiane and husband, Stephen, of Sandyston; her son, Otto, and wife, Betty, of Moncks Corner, SC; sisters, Renate (and Bruno) Delau, and Ingrid Lietz Rosenberg of NY; a brother; Heinz Lietz ,in CA; four grandchildren, Matthew, Erica, Otto III and Skipper; five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Chloe, Jaelyn, Penelope and Felix. Christa was predeceased by her husband Otto, grandson Otto II, and great-grandson Otto IV.

A memorial service will be private.
