Bridget Marion McConnell

Bridget was born and raised in Newton. She graduated from Newton High School then attended Penn Foster earning an Associate of Arts degree. Bridget worked as a School Aide for 6 years, most recently for Belvidere Elementary School.

Bridget enjoyed the outdoors and hiking. She was an avid animal lover and especially loved dogs. Bridget’s family, friends and pets held a very special place in her heart. She was a devoted mother and always made an effort to maintain close relationships with those she cared for most.

Bridget was predeceased by her grandparents, Dennis J. and Anna McConnell, and Colin and Marion (Dailey) Beeson. She is survived by her beloved son, Colin McKay; her parents, Dennis and Amanda (Beeson) McConnell; and her sister, Molly McConnell.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St, Branchville, NJ, with Celebration of Life Services beginning at 4 pm.
