It is with our deepest sadness to inform you that Michelle Marie Mercer, a devoted Lover, Mother, Nana, Daughter, Sister, Sister In Law, Aunt, Niece, Cousin and Friend, passed after a lengthy battle to Cancer on November 22, 2019 at the age of 52.
Michelle is Survived by Her Love Joseph Lochrie, Her Children Courtney (Tom) and Dylan (Lindsey), Her Grandchildren Lily, Jacob & Adam, Her Mother & Step Father Nellie & Ken Biggers, Her Brother Jason (Wife Krissy), Step Sister Christine (Husband Dan) and all of her Nieces & Nephews.
Michelle was born in Toronto on June 21st, 1967 to Albert and Nellie Mercer. She grew up in Malton, Ontario and eventually moved to Brampton, Ontario where she raised her Family, and most recently moved to Amherstburg in September of 2019. Michelle worked for 25 years in Payroll, Finance, and Human Resources. She left the Corporate world in 2008 at which time she looked after children from home. This was her passion and the children gave her so much joy.
Michelle was fun, loving, and kind hearted. She loved her girls get togethers, doing her Jewelry Shows, spending time with Family and Friends, and she loved going on Motorcycle Adventures with Joe and Friends. Michelle loved organizing get togethers and having people come to visit. She will be deeply missed by her Family and Friends and her Fur Babies Bella, Buster, Charlie, Lulu, Tipper, and Boots and her Bird Maggie.
Her visitation will be from 1-3pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. Her Funeral will be held the following day on Thursday, November 28th, 2019 at 11am. Her Viewing and Funeral will be held at Andrew's Funeral Home located at 8190 Dixie Road with a reception to follow the Funeral at Chinguacousy Ski Chalet from 1-6pm located at 9050 Bramalea Rd in Brampton, ON.
