He was born on October 22, 1946, to Joseph Kerul, Sr. & Margaret Kerul in Youngstown, OH.
Joseph was a Combat Veteran who served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1964-1968. He then attended Youngstown State University where he began to study Engineering (electrical/mechanical).
Joseph married Mary Ann Carson on September 7, 1969, and they had two children, James E. Kerul and Michael L. Kerul.
He worked as an Engineering Program Director and retired from the automotive industry in late 2010.
He was a talented man who could custom create anything you asked him to build and loved to be outdoors in the warm sun. Some of his interests were-but not limited to listening to the x22 Report and watching Ohio State Football on Saturday afternoons in the Fall.
Joseph is survived by Mary Ann Kerul (spouse), James Kerul (child), Michael Kerul (child), Olivia, Landon, Reese, and Kennedy Kerul (grandchildren), Maragret Hreno, Angela Cerenelli, and Elaine White (siblings).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Margaret Kerul.
A gathering of family and friends for Joseph will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 5:00 PM until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, Florida 34211.
