Born in Montgomery Hospital he was the son of the late Anna Mae (Galloway) and William H. Kocher, Sr.
He was a plant operator for Martins Stone Quarry for over 15 years. He was a social member of the Liberty Fire Company, New Berlinville and an avid motorcycle rider.
Surviving with his wife are step-sons, Jason M. Huffman of Gilbertsville and Jeremy D. Huffman of Barto; daughter-in-law, Jackie M. Huffman of Gilbertsville;grandchildren, Breanne N. Huffman of Gilbertsville, Jack and Jessica Huffman of Reading and Nick Huffman of Skippack; two sisters, Eleanor Steward of Oley and Anna Blankenbiller of New Berlinville.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Reverend Pamela Brehm will officiate.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
