Robert "Chink" Edward Dobry Sr., age 93, husband of Kay L. (Weyant) of Gilbertsville, PA passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Pottstown Hospital. Born on October 1, 1930, in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Bertha (Wallace) and Joseph M. Dobry.
Robert served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Serving on the aircraft carrier USS Midway. He was a member of Saint Aloysius Catholic Church in Pottstown, PA. Robert was the bar manager at the Lakeside Inn in Limerick, PA.
Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Kay L. (Weyant) Dobry; children, Michele K. Olinger partner of David Miller of Lansdale, PA, Robert E. Dobry Jr. of Gilbertsville, PA, Joseph M. Dobry II husband of Christy of Pottstown, PA, Deborah K. Heffner of Boyertown, PA; and grandchildren, Colin J. Retzlaff and Brianna X. Heffner.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
