Joseph M. Lutz

He was born in Pennsylvania on December 3, 1947. Joey as he was known spent his younger years at Penhurst State School. Joey truly began to thrive when he left Penhurst and took up residence in his community. Joey made lifelong friends and was very popular amongst his peers and those in the community.

Joey worked for 35 years at Parkhouse Providence Pointe in the housekeeping department, while working there he volunteered as Santa Claus. When Joey retired from Parkhouse, he continued this practice volunteering and visited the people he met while working. Joey moved to his Step By Step home in 2015, where he remained until his death. He enjoyed his life at Step By Step and developed special relationships with those who supported him and his peers.

While residing with Step By Step Joey developed a very special relationship with Margaret. The two have dated for several years and enjoyed spending time together going out to dinner, casino trips, and many other community activities. Margaret spent the evening holding his hand in the hospital before he passed away. He will truly be missed. He was catholic of faith.

Graveside services will be held at Limerick Garden of Memories 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
