Betty Eileen Mott

Born in Millerton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cora Mae Ford Bly and Rodney William Bly. Betty graduated from Canton High School in 1943. She and Frank married in 1944.

Betty was a member of the Leroy PA Church of Christ for 40 years where she was church pianist for 20 years. Retiring to Florida in 1985, she and Frank were active members of the Deltona, FL Christian Church. Betty returned to PA in 2009.

She is survived by her children, Jane Kulp (Newton) of Deltona, FL., Marilyn Austin (Robert) of Orange City, FL., Rodney Mott (Vicki) of Mount Pleasant, SC., and Michael Mott (Julie) of Gilbertsville, PA. 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren also survive her. Betty is predeceased by her husband Frank D. Mott, Sr., 2006, her son Frank D. Mott, Jr.,1996, her sister Margery Bly Lewis, 2005 and her brother Rodney Bly,1966.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at the LeRoy Baptist Church in LeRoy, PA on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with her nephew, Pastor Ronald Bly, officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in the Mott Cemetery, Leroy, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty Mott to the LeRoy Community Association, Inc., In Care Of: Ron Kirby, 10006 Rt. 414, Canton, PA 17724
