Alice met Robert E. Sterner during a night out dancing and the couple was married on October 8, 1955. Together they shared 60 years of love in which they raised their four children and eight grandchildren. Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and took pleasure in watching the Lawrence Welk show on Saturday nights. Alice stayed sharp by playing along to game shows including Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and the Price is Right.
