Milton Francis Taylor, Jr.

Milton “Sonny” Francis Taylor, Jr. passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 in Bowie, Maryland. Sonny is from Maryland and was the husband of the late Delores Mary Taylor and the late Elizabeth Rae Taylor. He is the loving father of Michael F. Taylor and his wife Betty, Barbara A. Taylor-Wright and her husband Garry, Katherine Nora Money, Christopher J. Taylor and his wife Suzy and Nora Gundlach and her husband Dan. Sonny is also survived by his sister Joyce Reggi and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Milton served a tour in the U. S. Navy and later worked and retired from Capital Volkswagen and later as a second career, was a school bus driver for Prince George’s County from which he also retired. He enjoyed fishing, camping, “cruise shipping” with Liz and the “Over The Hill Gang! HTTR.

Family will receive friends at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 28, 2022. Following the service, a graveside service will be held at Maryland National Cemetery, Laurel, Maryland.
